Our Story

Hi there, I'm Denisa Graffis, the baker behind Denisa's Cookie Jar.  I was introduced to baking at a young age. In elementary school I delighted in preparing microwave cakes & brownies.  In college, I torturned my dorm mates with the smell of fresh-baked bread coming from the bread machine I kept in my room.

As an adult, baking has become for me both an outlet for stress and a way to show love.  Whipping up a batch of cookies, a loaf of bread or a pan of brownies keeps my hands busy and my mind calm, and sharing those baked goods with others fills my heart with joy.

My hobby turned into a business when I set up a booth at my local farmer's market in 2020. Thank you for visiting, and for supporting my small business!
